What A Difference A Day Makes

"Into each life some rain must fall, some days be dark and dreary".
Longfellow, Henry Wadsworth

To some life can be compared in some odd way
to the weather
one day bright cheerful sun rays
the very next day dark dreary clouds

When the sun shines we smile
we are filled with laughter
these are the good times the good old days
nothing can go wrong

On cloudy dark dreary days
we may feel low lost in deep despair
we face trials
everything seems to go wrong

The sky and the clouds weep
when the sun shines it smiles
we also can be happy amidst the clouds and rain
plants, trees, and flowers need rain

It is indeed a paradox
we cannot live without both
the sun does it's part as well as the rain
what a difference a day makes
