 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

Remember your Creator,
Before the silver cord breaks;
Then you meet the persuader,
As the ground where you stand quakes.

The golden bowl is broken,
The pitcher is smashed near the well;
The people are outspoken,
And immorally they dwell.

The water wheel at the tank,
Is broken for the cistern;
No water for that they drank,
To quench from the heat that burn.

Then the dust from the mortals,
Will go back into the ground;
And processed through the portals,
Without a breath or a sound,

Words from the wise are like spurs,
They are said like nails driven,
As the thoughts in your mind stirs,
On things that God has given.

Because we are like the sheep,
And they come from one shepherd;
Who watches us as we sleep,
Not attacked by a leopard.

Be warned of anything more,
People never stop writing;
As studying is a chore,
That will get people fighting.

Too much studying from books,
Will tire your body out;
And not as the cover looks;
As the contents sheds some doubt.
