Try to put up with me,
The foolishness I speak;
You shall very soon see,
Everything I seek.
I am sure that you know,
How protective is God;
Just by willing to show,
How you honor and laud.
By faith we are mortals,
Promised espouse to Christ;
And follow the portals,
Of the One sacrificed.
For as the snake deceived,
Eve I fear was naive;
And she frankly believed,
What the fruit would achieve.
So your mind maybe lured,
From your pure devotion;
Your faith must be secured,
Stopping your emotion.
If there is another,
That you have heard about;
Go tell to your brother;
That you are having doubt.
One true God one Spirit,
One Father and one Son;
One gift to inherit,
One way it can be done.
You must put up with that,
Learning which one is fake;
And telling them to scat,
Since truth will not forsake.
