GOOD ADVICE

GOOD ADVICE

`Don`t believe all you hear
And only half of what you see
And you won`t go far wrong`
Was the advice given to me.

This advice has served me well
I now read between the lines
For what is true and what is not
And I can spot the tell-tale signs.

I listen to everything that is said
Then think about it long and hard
I choose to keep what I think is true
And the rest I just simply disregard.

I am not sure just what I saw
Could my eyes be deceiving me?
Could be a trick of my imagination
That is not impossible you see.

So now I don`t believe all I hear
And only half of what I see
And living by these rules
Seems good advice to me.
