Do you have some encouragement?
Any consolation of love;
Or is it some discouragement,
That you are getting from above.
Do you have the comfort of love?
From any sisters and brothers;
Or close relationships thereof,
That you have with any others.
Do you have any sympathy?
Or compassion every day;
For brothers with pain and agony,
That constantly trust and obey.
Then fill me with spiritual joy,
By having the same attitude;
And the more that you would employ,
Many can enjoy the same mood.
Be sure to live in harmony,
But keeping one purpose in mind;
Let each day be your epiphany,
While being humbled and kind.
Take on the form of a servant,
Being more like other humans;
And that your prayers are more fervent,
As you chase away the demons.
Christ humbled himself through a loss,
Obedient up until death;
Agony while on the cross,
Up until breathing the last breath.
God gave Him exceptional respect,
An honored name above all names;
A name that no one can reject,
And just as the Gospel proclaims.
