The Lord is good to those who wait,
If in pain He will compensate;
You never have to be afraid,
So if you seek He will give aid.
It is good to continue hope,
Surely you know enduring cope;
Wait silently for Him to save,
He will rescue you from the grave.
It is good for you to endure,
When you are young do not ignore;
You will find out later in life,
Reasons for the burden of strife.
Remain silent and sit alone,
Wait for the commands from His throne;
Since the Lord laid these burdens on you,
As He will be helping you through.
For the Lord laid them upon you,
If you are able to construe;
And if able to work it out,
in confidence without a doubt.
You should put your mouth in the dust,
For finding out who you can trust;
Maybe it is why hope exists,
Learning something that assists.
You should turn the other cheek,
Taking insults that one may speak;
And pay back them with a smile,
Blessing the words they defile.
