Seek the Lord as He may be found,
Quietly listen for His sound;
Call on Him while He is near,
And make sure that you are sincere.
Let the wicked desert their way,
Not to relive going astray;
And the evil abandon thoughts,
Of corruption scheming in plots.
Let them all return to the Lord,
Where they will never be ignored;
He will show compassion on them,
If confessed He will not condemn.
Let them return to our God,
Showing the Lord honor and laud;
Because He will freely forgive,
Giving them the freedom to live.
For His thought is never your thought,
And what He has sought you have not;
Since His ways are higher than yours,
And have not the keys to His doors.
As Heaven is higher than earth,
So is the same as His ways worth;
His way is higher than your thought,
And more than you have ever sought.
Maybe you often wondered why,
Rain and snow comes down from the sky;
They do not go back until the ground,
Has been watered without a sound.
Then they make the plants and trees grow,
From the seed the farmer did sow;
Yielding enough for all to eat,
Making the cycle be complete.
