Now if you ever had a boy in little league you well understand
If not you might have girls in ballet dancing and understand
The coaches sons all play shortstop and pitcher
The ballet teacher's daugher lead dancer
The neighbor boy plays third and pitcher
Unless he doesn't have a good arm and then first base or second
So if you are not on the coaching staff or a neighbor
Your boy is going to have to learn how to catch
That is the hardest position for kids to learn
This works until two years go by and a new coach.
Dad coach played catcher in high school and wants his boy catcher
Trust me none of this is based on ability
The first coaches boy did not make JV team and is hitting .197
I lookws ir up and no longer pitching and on the "B" team
The second boy is playing soccer on the front line
His father is coach so far he has scored no goals
That sort of thing will change when you get to High school--naught!
Grandson is second in the league in hitting over .500
He had been revolved around by politics to sharing left field
With his best friend who went through the same system hitting .427.
Could it be bad fielding--no he has not made an error in two years
Last game the regular center fielder made three error and is hitting .295
So we put the game together. last game hit a double and knocked in three runs
The game was lost 8-5 on the center fielder's three errors.
But this means so the Centerfielder gets all his at bats you sit out next game
I mean this boy is major league bound and tonight is off day for you
I will not go tonight if he does not play I well be on National TV.
You have seen these awful parents who are ruining the kids games.
