Love and Fear
Are the angels of religion
And they are also the demons who haunt
Our explorations of reality
Jesus the Jew went into the wilderness
And came back with love thy enemy
And he conquered Rome
Muhammad the Arab went into the cave
And came back with there is no God but God
And conquered Arabia
Then Darwin took a journey to the South Pacific
And to him God revealed that he wasn’t yet done
With His revelation
And the Jews, Christians and Muslims
Continued to kill each other
