I saw a new Heaven and earth,
As they were being given birth;
For the old ones had disappeared,
Along with the evil we feared.
Neither was the sea anywhere,
And none of the creatures were there;
But I saw the holy city,
As it shined so nice and pretty.
New Jerusalem coming down,
Looking beautiful in her gown;
Down from Heaven dressed as a bride,
For her Husband all pure inside.
It could be heard from a loud voice,
All of us started to rejoice;
God is making His home with man,
As it is written in His plan.
He will wipe the tears from their eyes,
While wisdom will make them wise;
No longer any death or tears,
Because there will be no more fears.
Neither the mourning nor the pain,
Shall ever be heard of again;
For these words are faithful and true,
For now is the time it is due.
The Alpha and Omega shown,
The One sitting up on the throne;
Will be making everything new,
And as one between Christ and you.
No more hunger and no more thirst,
No longer anything accursed;
Knowing that God did not forsake,
Since saved from the fiery lake.
