The Lord delights in those that fear,
But His mercy will dry your tear;
If your patience allows to cope,
Then your will is waiting for hope.
Praise to the Lord and to your God,
Giving Him your honor and laud;
Continue in giving Him praise,
As He blesses the one that prays.
Strong bars have assembled your gate,
To persevere as you wait;
He will bless the children within,
And cleanse them from all of their sin.
His commandments are your orders,
For keeping peace on your borders;
He satisfies your hunger and thirst,
Ensuring your harvest will burst.
Hunger satisfied with good wheat,
Some of the best bread you will eat;
If you thirst you make some good wine,
From the best grapes grown on His vine.
God sends His promise through the earth,
At great speed His Word moves from birth;
He sends snow just like wool from clouds,
As it gently lands on the crowds.
He sends the winter chilling blast,
That will always want to outlast;
Competing with the summer heat,
Causing sweat that is hard to beat.
God sends the Word that melts the snow,
And ceases the north wind to blow;
Which causes water downward flow,
Nourish plants in making them grow.
