Standing in line for the gates to open,
draped in robes so pure and white.
One-by-one the angles lead in,
stepping in awe and all wonders there.
The thought of joy and happiness overwhelm;
in this place no fear, no anger dwells.
Your earthly pains that you once felt,
are no more, forever gone.
You're walking in awe on the purest of gold,
greeting people you once known and many new.
Even the sound is filled with awe,
with the angles singing their many praises.
Yet you continue your journey through the shores of Heaven,
just glorifying with all and many there.
You're young again with no more aches,
no more sin and again, no more pains.
You're running, you're dancing all throughout Heaven's shore,
enjoying your gift of eternal life,
that was promised many years before.
You become awestruck when approached by a man,
upon His hands bore scars that proved His love.
He takes you in His arms, embracing you,
welcoming you home.
Even though your life did end,
it is the start of something amazing.
Freedom from this world of sin,
and gaining entrance to your Heavenly home.
So enjoy your new life on the shores of Heaven,
Even though you will be missed down here.
Don't worry about us, rejoice to Him;
our time will come and we will see you again.
