GO ON

Have to go on
On your own
Homeless lady
Without a home
You have your dogs
Your one cat
You learn to live
Alone like that
Your kids don't really
Care for you
Leave them alone
Is what you do
Their goals are to their own
Leave them alone

Fight for the children
You have now
Feed those animal kids
Somehow
As dogs are loyal as can be
A cat's okay
Even if he's no longer free

You ask for hand outs
They don't give
You want to die
Instead you live
You're not entitled to their love
That's something only God can see
He looks down from heaven above
He tells you to let them be
When you are better
Stacked with cash
No poem letters
That are rash
You'll remember how you were treated
Screw them all
You're not defeated
Because other people
Will and do care
You give them their fair share
While your blood family
Remains rash
Go tell them to kiss your ass
They may have came
Out of your body
Selfishly they all are
Shoddy
Stuff you built
By working for decades every day
You let them go
Go on your own way.
