'' It's Called Imitation ''
We tend to like it when someone flatters,
If truth be told it really matters,
Peace and goodwill are what it scatters,
It's a wonderful sensation.
It can and does give you a boost,
Depending on what you have deduced,
All feelings of stress will then be reduced,
It can fill you with such elation.
It certainly doesn't do any harm,
In effect it's a form of charm,
So there's no need to feel any alarm,
It should never cause aggravation.
Pick someone you like and do it today,
You never know they may lead you astray,
Flattery has such a wonderful array,
It's a sensuous creation.
If you happen to be feeling miffed,
A word of praise will give you a lift,
Beguile someone with this gift,
It's a form of adulation.
Never be ashamed to give out some praise,
The recipients spirits you will raise,
Believe me it can leave some in a daze,
Hatred thrives on aggravation.
When you give this reward they'll duplicate you,
Because they will love the things that you do,
What's the sincerest form of flattery they can pursue,
