His saving kindness has appeared,
For the sake of everyone;
Although some ungodly have feared,
The benefit is through His Son.
For the grace of God has appeared,
Bringing salvation to all men;
As for us He is highly revered,
Which we praise again and again.
It trains us to avoid the lives,
As filled with worldly desires;
Wait patiently till Christ arrives,
To douse all immoral fires.
This instructs us to the extent,
For denying ungodliness;
And worldly lusts through letters sent,
In return for getting blessedness.
We should live righteously sober,
As well as godly here on earth;
Show your true self to your neighbor,
And how much you are really worth.
Until then we will have to cope,
Keeping a faith that remains bright;
For we expect what we hope,
Shall be completely full of light.
So we look for the blessed hope,
The appearance of our God;
Also looking at the full scope,
Of being cleansed where we were flawed.
Then Jesus Christ our Savior,
Sets us free from every sin;
As He looks on us with favor,
For His Spirit to cleanse within.
