I saw a new Heaven and earth,
Coming down with such priceless worth;
So much beauty looking so bright,
From self-illuminating light.
As many forecasted and feared,
First Heaven and earth disappeared;
All of the sea was also gone,
A new age was about to dawn.
For I saw the new holy city,
Coming down looking so pretty;
New Jerusalem dressed like a bride,
Ready for her husband inside.
I heard a loud voice from the throne,
God lives with man who I condone;
The Lord will make His home with them,
They will be His ones not condemn.
God will be with them as their God,
They will praise with honor and laud;
He will be there to calm their fear,
From their eyes He will wipe each tear.
There will never be a last breath,
Since there will not be any death;
For their faith and their belief,
There will not be any more grief.
They will not have crying or pain,
No longer any flooding rain;
All things that before they had feared,
Since the first things have disappeared.
For God is making all things new,
And these words are faithful and true;
He is the beginning and end,
Their Father as well as their friend.
