'' That Final Breath ''
The time you have now is all you will get,
Make the most of it whilst still here,
Don't life a life filled with regret,
The fact is there is nothing to fear.
That afterlife they promise is all but a dream,
To pacify your existence now,
Though some tell you there's a being supreme,
Start asking them why and how.
How would they know that a Heaven is there?
Have they been in a meeting with God?
Do they have proof that will make you aware?
That their teachings aren't those of a fraud.
Why does he allow murder, mayhem and disease?
World wars and our mass extinctions,
Their image of God comes with no guarantees,
As for death there are no distinctions.
To manipulation the human mind is ripe,
Some believe Elvis is still alive,
Like their invisible Gods the whole thing is tripe,
It's we who make these fantasies thrive.
Religion is worth millions in property and cash,
I'd like to ask why this is so,
Do their Gods have bills they must pay from their stash?
As they're so secretive we won't ever know.
A creator of all life who needs material wealth?
The very concept you should treat as bizarre,
In effect they're robbing you by stealth,
Or could it be their God needs a new car?
Gods are a business that is a fact,
They enjoy playing games with your head,
It should be classed as a criminal act,
As when you're gone you're a long time dead.
Life is so short you must make the most,
What you have will not last forever,
There's no Father, Son or a Holy Ghost,
Religious doctrine can be very clever.
The trials of life have at times driven you insane,
Good health is a thing of the past,
Now in mind and in body you are suffering pain,
Unlike death life on Earth doesn't last.
If you choose to believe there's an afterlife,
In the hope that a Heaven applies,
If your faith in paradise eases your strife,
I hope that you get your surprise.
Now think of the best sleep you've ever had,
There is nothing to compare with death,
Uninterrupted pleasure should make you feel glad,
So don't be fearful of,
