Do not be ignorant,
About those who died
Or even arrogant,
To think that I have lied.
You do not have to grieve,
As if you cannot cope;
Just have faith and believe,
For there is always hope.
There is hope to see Christ,
There is hope to see light;
For this life has sufficed,
Heaven bound and in sight.
As long as they have a belief,
Before they died and gone;
God had given them a relief,
And towards the never ending dawn.
We believe that Jesus had died,
And in three days came back to life;
Knowing that no one ever lied,
About His toils and the strife.
We believe that God will bring back,
To join Him when we pass away;
As long as we no longer slack,
Allowing us to go astray.
We are saying what the Lord taught,
And is the same what we did learn;
The trust and the faith that we sought,
Is fulfilled when Christ does return.
Those already dead will go first,
Before those alive to Heaven;
For they have had the greatest thirst,
And preference has been given.
