Ha! Ha! Halloween

Ringing doorbells…pumpkin shells!
Some wee witches casting spells!
Pitch black cats and big black bats!
Everything from snakes to rats!

Spooky sounds invade the night!
Makes one shiver in delight!
Spider webs…screams and moans!
Graves erected on the lawns!

Count Dracula and Frankenstein!
Princesses of every kind!
Candy corn and popcorn balls…
Be wary as the darkness falls!!!

Always have some treats around…
Word has spread from town to town…
Some strange creatures have been seen!!
They’re hungry and it’s Halloween!!!!

HA! HA!

Doris Jacobs-Covington
October 2013

~~Dedicated to the youngsters and the
young at heart...especially for Monique~~

~~Author's Note~~
I don't associate October 31st with anything evil.
It's Harvest Time...Trick or Treat Time...Masquerade
Time...a time for children to have a spooky good
time. Evil lives in the heart...not on the calendar.

Care is needed to protect children from those who
would use this time to harm them...but it's also a
time to trust their Guardian Angels will watch over
them.
