Let Your blessings reach me,
Save me as You promised;
With insight so I see,
Like paint from an artist.
Then I have an answer,
For the one with insults;
Payback for his cancer,
And any of his cults.
For I trust in Your Word,
Let Your loving kindness;
Come to me to be heard,
New birth through blessedness.
Take not a word You hear,
My hope based on Your laws,
And I am filled with fear,
Because of all my flaws.
Forever and ever,
I have planned to follow;
Your teachings not sever,
And can be more hallow.
So I can walk relieved,
Feeling of liberty;
Since I truly believed,
And freed from poverty.
I will speak as written,
And never feel ashamed;
No more to be smitten,
While being proclaimed.
Your laws make me so glad,
As I lift up my hands;
For no need to be sad,
For loving Your commands.
