 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

You are cursed if you trust humans,
Who has made flesh and blood his might?
And whose heart turns towards the demons,
Turning him away from the light.

He will be like brush in desert,
Never seeing when something goes,
Lazy putting up no effort,
At those times while the wind blows.

He will live in where the dry sand,
A salty land where no one can live;
And will receive no helping hand,
In a place God will not forgive.

Blest be the one who trusts the Lord.
For He will be his confidence;
With remaining in one accord,
Upholds to be his best defense.

The same as a tree by a lake,
Knowing that the lake not run dry;
Since the Lord would never forsake,
And no reason to wonder why.

It will not fear the summer heat,
Its leaves will be turning green,
Shade will provide rest for the feet,
For one whose long journey has been.

It will not die during the droughts,
But continue producing fruits;
This tree will not have any doubts,
About having the deepest roots.

O how deceitful is the mind,
O how deceitful is the heart;
That seems as though gentle and kind,
Actually decides to depart.
