How long O my Lord,
Will I be ignored?
Is it forever?
To let it sever.
How long will you hide?
And I now have cried;
I feel the disgrace,
Never see your face.
How long must I make,
Me feel you forsake;
Sorrow in my heart,
Each day as I start.
How long will my foe,
His victory flow;
Please light up my eyes,
To see their disguise.
To overpower him,
I would not feel grim;
No more mystery,
Of a victory.
I would then rejoice,
And lift up my voice;
With praising the Lord,
Is loved and adored.
I have been shaken,
Being forsaken;
I trust in Your grace,
To feel Your embrace.
My heart finds much joy,
Not to go destroy;
But a foundation,
For Your salvation.
