God is rich in mercy and grace,
His great love is there to embrace;
His arm is just like our shield,
Come harvest will be there to yield.
We were dead because we had failed,
Like a speeding train that derailed;
But He made us alive again,
Purified as we should have been.
The kindness of the Lord saved you,
Wanting your devotion is true;
So through Christ you are now made whole,
For reaching Heaven as your goal.
Through faith as an act of kindness,
God saved you with His blessedness;
You had nothing to do with it,
Rather a gift you inherit.
It is not anything you did,
Neither nothing God had forbid;
And no one can ever have doubt,
Nor anything to brag about.
God has made us just what we are,
From each pimple and to each scar;
He gave each of us certain chores,
That opens only certain doors.
Live lives filled with the good acts,
Speak in the knowledge of the facts;
Do nothing considered evil,
Or considered as work of the devil.
Through Jesus Christ God does forgive,
So you will be able to live;
You are filled with good works for you,
To do as Christ wants you to do.
