From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph

And oh how I miss her

Wonder if I'll ever be able to

Wake up and she's in my view

Reach over and touch her

I want to give her my heart

But only if she'll accept it

Then I will know if I can give her my all

I apologize that all of this

Came after the fall

I want her

Not for sex but for love

I need her

Cause I know this she's full of

And here I am in deep

I'm talking ankles submerged

They're calling me krazy cause I'm

Off the verge and on the cliff

Ready to leap after her treasure

For that's where he threw it

After he left her

Enough of the "what ifs"

There's no reward if there's no risk

And we both know she's certainly worth it

So I take flight

Arms outstretched

Thoughts no longer complex...

But they and her have become one

Because I haven't figured out

Where this off switch is yet

Ready to help repair her wings

Even if it means

Going to the moon and bringing it back

I wonder if she understands

For her I'd do anything
