Wherever you go there is dishonesty

If you need to get things done bribery is offered

You can also see the  corruption taking place

I wonder what happened to the honesty

My mother taught me even if your head is taken off

You need to tell only truth and truths always win at the end

I am teaching the same to my granddaughter

She came one day from school and asked me

You told me to tell the truth which I did

All my friends told the lies and I got told off

If I tell the truth I should not be told off

The next day I went with her to school and told the teacher

She then asked my child to explain again

They appreciated her later for being brave and telling the truth

I told her truth always win but it may take a bit of time
