On a wintry day, It is feeling cold; From the north to stray, The wind becomes so bold. On a wintry day, Snow begins to fall; While the highway, Gets piled up tall. On a wintry day, As with the old rule; The school bus would sway, Kids stayed home from school. On a wintry day, All is pure and white; Just the roads turn gray, But behold the sight. On a wintry day, Children play in snow; As they get their sleigh, With races down hill. On a wintry day, A snowman is made; Looks like he will say, He is not afraid. On a wintry day, Dad looks at the chore; His shovel to play, Heading out the door. On a wintry day, Such a change of pace; Blessings to convey, God shedding His grace.
