My time was not wasted, That I spend here with you; For suffering tasted, Like a bill overdue. The insulting treatment, That I had to endure; I had to circumvent, The ridicule for sure. But God gave me courage, To tell you the Good News; Along with the knowledge, And not personal views. The strong opposition, Would not be stopping me; Standing my position, With the insight I see. I do since God does trust, And also passed the test; For it is not for lust, That I will do my best. I please not the people, Rather pleasing to God; Keep preaching the Gospel, As I honor and laud. God tests our motives, To see if we are true; You will know when He gives, His blessings unto you. I am seeking no praise, From no one that is here; Merely knowing always, That God will remain near.
