I wrote down everything
You need to know,
And tore it up,
And tossed written words away
Indelible Ink they say!
That coming from the heart.
In my mind the words a memory,
Tossed about in winds of sand,
Seen drifting away in oceans waves
Nothing can remove these words
Yet they forever remain in my heart.
I know you are wondering,
what incoming tides tomorrow well bring.
And await for the day the Angels sing.
Yet I ask what are words anyway?
Are they just feelings that come and go?
And should you be concerned about vices?
Cancer does cure smoking!
Society Ruined by those doping.
Somewhere lost love is moping,
An cheating ends relationships!
As loose lips sink ships.
For a lie told gone quiet still remains.
But you don't need to know about relationships,
Job security growing old,
If the stock market rises or may fold.
a snowy day or and icy cold,
Just those words I wrote down today.
For indelible they can't be tossed away,
And what were those words you say?
The words I say everyday, "I Love you!"
As indelible in my heart they stay
No change of tides or torn up paper
In this heart until my dying day.
