The man whose eyesight is clear. Has a tongue that speak no fear; So the one who hears the Lord, Will walk in the same accord. His knowledge and his wisdom, Comes from the Divine Kingdom; Receiving from the Most High, No need to be asking why. He has a vision of God, And starts to honor and laud; As he falls into a trance, With his eyes open perchance. He sees someone but not now, Not here but left an endow; And another not nearby, Looking up into the sky. A star will be coming soon, That is larger than the moon; As a new ruler will rise, That the whole world will despise. He will be crushing their heads, While sleeping in their beds; No one to be spared the wrath, As He blocks their escape path. Israel will be wealthy, And spiritually healthy; No longer to be frozen, Captives and as His chosen. So from Jacob He will rule, No more treated as a fool; All towns no longer pretty, As He destroys the cities. Copyright © 2013 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
