From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
She brought about the term
Breaking the mold
Cause once she was born
God couldn't resist all the false stories being told
People being blasphemous
Talking about how they have
Quite the resemblance to her
It's a shame for such lies to occur
For no one holds a flame
No one comes close
Pick your favorite phrase
While I sit here and count the ways
I let the world know
Just how beautiful she is
How she still works wonders
On this drum within my chest
She can beat that organ till there's nothing left
Even on the bed leading me to death
I know that even compared to
The quadrillions I'm about to meet in the afterlife
There's none whose beauty can match
I've no problem stating this fact
But I'd rather spend my remaining life
Showing her I've known this
Ever since the second I saw her
Way before I envisioned tasting those sweet lips
In front of I forget how many witnesses
I'm just grateful He chose someone so unworthy
To entrust with someone
Who embodies perfection at its peak
The epitome of the pretty type
Beauty so God-like
Yet she's human with many flaws
To get to her
My mind and heart waged many wars
Worthwhile so when I found her
I knew how to appreciate her
My word
Many times before our embrace
I hold her away at arms length
Just to admire such an amazing creature
With whom not a one can contend
So blessed with her at the year ends
So excited to see what the new year brings
