SUITCASE MASSACRE
There were many
a number... irrelevant
...counting backward
Staging a mousy girl
the voluptuous kind
and her heart beat
A little bit, fragile
and her insides, growled
with hunger, for attention
The right and wrong
of a marooned performance
kicking up ugly, inside an alley
An empty echoooo
antiqued persuasion
with whispering ghosts
"Kind of funny" said,
a shallow breath~
hanging on for dear life
Winded and humiliated
trespassers congregated
gray and glittered mist
Japanese bonsai and
bubbles that burst
reflections of days, old
An abandoned plastic pool
sat the little girl
she knows, no better
Silence is powerful
engaging with miracles
and she hugs trees
Pretty pink balloons
an asylum for Betty
the sounds of attachment
Piano music, for a friend
white seagulls lift upward
looking down, upon failure
A lollypop for Sally
she was a good girl
behind her blue eyes
Somewhere in Hollywood
another space... thru time
cold cement and mascara
