Dear darling The days aren’t right without you The nights aren’t right without you My life is in chaos, nothing is the same And I have no one but myself to blame I dream of you I search for you There are no happy days There is just misery and memory And the smoky distorted haze If you had never been with me Maybe this wouldn’t have happened But I would give the world to be reminded Of the love I was once wrapped in When you held me in your arms Kept me safe from all harms And told me secrets and marvels enchanted I can’t bare being without you I meant it when I said you were my world But it can end, cant it? I don’t ever want to leave you If you don’t ever want to leave me I wish somehow this could make sense For you came in like a fire blazing And took down my every defense I belong to you now And I can’t do anything about it My soul is safer with you anyhow If you want glory, take my story Your praises, I would shout it My everything, my everything Without you, nothing is left for me I guess this is what broken hearted means Having a taste of heaven And then be banished from the shelter Of his wings Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
