ACROSS THE COLDEST NIGHT'S SKY

 ACROSS THE COLDEST NIGHT'S SKY

Thinking of all things, merging with all things
Watching life's changes as they thunder by
Wrapping winter days in the palm of my mind
I enter the celestial body of unseen phenomena

~~~~~~
Purling through the universe, circling within
Picking flowers on Mercury, Venus and Neptune
Flying above blank faces that border the cosmos
Riding the cosmic sleeve of the Comet ISON
~~~~~~
As I travel around the edges of this spherical place
Fading into twinkling lights, I become a prism of time
Cradled in space above the black hole
Contentment paints countenance with a brush of stillness

~~~~~~
Drifting in shades of euphoria, curving in time warps
I wonder of archangels and cratered cathedrals of gold
Of things to come within this restless universe
I have no answers, only questions that blaze into fiery light
                                Across the coldest night's sky
