This path I walk that channels through
My mind at ease when thoughts of you
Become the peace my soul searched for
A state of mind, of wanting more
More of you no less I'd say
As walk I do this path my stay
Becomes a place wandered away
Becomes my need on heart displayed
Not long ago in far off land
A princess sought much in demand
Came to breathe new life into
A heart broken, loss broke in two
Her touch became the spark that changed
This world of hurt, a soul in pain
For scent was that of sandalwood
Today his wish, if only could
Reminders of such better days
Though two steps back he often strays
While on the path he nears this day
Relive briefly good yesterdays
And though it seems life cruel does scheme
Against chapters of time his dreams
Become once more and almost seems
Often the place where often leans
Often of you
