In college my son was a prankster. His roommate was messy. My son a clean freak.
He cleaned the room hid the roommates messy clothes. Even had them dry cleaned. One
day his own favorite Jersey went missing. A Chicago Hockey Black hawk Jersey. It was
considered stolen until Danny began getting letters. Each letter had a picture of
someone wearing his jersey and where it had been. It began at Georgetown campus. A
young coed was seen wearing it in front of the Washington Monument. A wino in front
of Lincolns statue. Baby kit tins laying just born with Mom. The letters and pictures kept coming.
Hawaii on the beach, A bar in Brazil, A girl posing in front of a guard at the Royal
Palace in England and the last in front of the red square in Russia. The letters and
pictures then stopped. The Jersey by his friend was replaced. One day I was working
in the front yard. A young couple came up to the gate, "Does this belong to you?" My
sons name on the back. I was a little in shock, "They handed me a note. This is what it
said, "You may borrow me for your trip. I am yours for as long as you travel and have
me cleaned at the end of your trip and take pictures of me and sent them to this address
of where I have been. The only rule you must pass me on to a fellow traveler who also
must take pictures. My address was on the message saying if anyone traveled to this area
to return me to my owner. The kids came from California to vacation. I have a picture of
the jersey my Granddaughter wearing it. It is as new as the day it went on vacation./dandy
