DRUGS

It happens all around us
But we never see it done,
The kids they go and buy them
They think it will be fun.

Then they go off to a rave
And they dance the night away,
The drugs may make them feel good
But there is a price to pay.

Then addiction takes over
They just have to have their fix,
They will beg, steal or borrow
There is nothing they won`t risk.

They then turn to the hard drugs
In order to reach that high,
It becomes more dangerous
When risky drugs they buy.

We know some aren`t so lucky
They die taking their first `E`,
What possessed them to try them
Just remains a mystery.

The parents' lives are shattered
As drugs bring heartache and pain,
When they lose a child to drugs
Their lives are never the same.

So if you haven`t tried them
I hope you keep it that way,
You will be a lucky kid
Who will see another day.
