'' They'll Knock On Your Door ''

‘' They'll Knock On Your Door ‘'

There are human beings, who are ever so kind,
To help another they just don't mind,
Honest and good is how they're defined,
Nothing to them is a chore.

To do a good turn they'll go out of their way,
Even if your life is in disarray,
Nothing's too much for them to purvey
Their selflessness comes to the fore.

They'll always be there if you're in need,
Give them a call and they'll do the deed,
They truly are from a different breed,
Your request they would never ignore.

They'll be by your side in times of grief,
Helping you to find some relief,
In Human Nature they'll restore your belief,
With kindness they have a rapport.

Nothing in life to them is too much,
If you need some company they'll stay in touch,
Some look upon them as their crutch,
Selfishness is what they deplore.

None of them do it for personal gain,
They never feel the need to complain,
They are the meaning of the word humane,
Your confidence they will restore.

Believe it or not they are all around,
When you least expect it they will be found,
What they do for others is so profound,
You could not ask for more.

Why do they do it only they'll ever know?
Their attitude to life like a river will flow,
The seeds of decency are what they sow,
These people we love and adore.

In times of trouble they will always be there,
If you're in need they'll show you they care,
By lifting you from the depths of despair,
It's up to the Heavens you'll soar.

The strange thing is we could all do the same,
It's as simple as learning someone's first name,
That alone can bring a feeling of fame,
You'll feel better than you did before.

Without them we would have to confess,
Our lives would be in a bit of a mess,
They are the ones, who relieve our stress,
If required,
