Such is Her Sentiment By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Beyond the realm of make believe
Yearns heart so pure this day that grieves
The love of one that cannot be
But dreams still keep of love it weaves
She chases hope though heartache schemes
Its plot to slay of things that mean
The world to her, love birthed before
The moment came and heart it tore
There is a flame that keeps this day
Its sentiment that paves the way
To hold, to breathe of yesterdays
To cling though high a price it pays
Hers no less but so much more
Forever kept in her heart stored
Though time has carved away at life
She holds to glimmer of loves light
One day her wait will come to end
As princess wish will come and spend
It's time to grant what she wished for
Love now complete at her hearts door
As all fair maidens such deserve
A prince their own, in their heart reserved
