  Ode to Christian “Kiki” Fenot

To my Brother in Law and dear friend that I knew most of his life.

Kiki was born in France and came to America as a very young man.

He did not speak the language nor could he drive a car; but he quickly learned how to do both!

His insatiable determination to succeed in his new homeland quickly became self evident, through his positive attitude, and hard work ethics. I never once heard him use the term “I can’t do it!"

Kiki became a well know figure in his Florida community as “Frenchie” the paint contractor;

a successful enterprise that he owned and operated for over fifty years. He was a generous and

thoughtful father and loved his family above all! They did indeed throw the mold away when

Kiki was born; he was definitely one of a kind. Christian was admired by many and loved dearly by his family.

He will be forever missed by those of us, who really knew and loved him.

May Kiki’s spirit soar with eagles!~
