Morning opens in Orange colored skies
Ocean waves flow in vermilion hues
Ongoing tides bring me home to you
For I served my country one of the few
Off I go into the wild blue yonder
For the world's in crisis
In it's time of need no delay
Must I wasted time to ponder
I wander in the hills and valleys
In caves I search on bumpy roads
To find the enemy in their abodes
No thought of me in heat and colds
I faced the shearing of golden Locke's
some of my friends return in pine boxes
Well you be waiting under the yellow ribbon tree?
For I never hated those thought my enemy
My goal only to keep my country free
