to be my own element
somewhere inside a wild river flows.
I wish it never-still.
my heart is a burning ember
that glows and grows.
a fire of my free will.
the steep hills of my soul
climb and fall,
reaching up for a boundless
blue.
my feet don't wish to touch
the ground,
but would be tethered to
the roaming winds
and I, transformed into
a changeling cloud
of many hues.
emotions,
my motion one swirling
mass,
how sweet to be
my own Creator of a sacred
happiness.
think what bliss
it would be
to be
my own element.
home.
free at last.
