'' To Rise And Be A Nation Again ''
Those who would seek to deny us our rights,
Let them leave now and turn out the lights
They'll find out when Independence bites,
Over our country they no longer reign
Their propaganda is based on lies,
In their arguments common sense never applies,
Truth is they're scared that we'll cut the ties,
That's why theirs is a negative campaign.
Being dictated to by people we did not elect,
On our pride this has a terrible effect,
They don't care if they leave our economy wrecked,
Our people they want to constrain.
For centuries our people have been betrayed,
Westminster policies always leave us dismayed,
This is our destiny do not be afraid,
Our spirit they will never contain.
This election is not about the S.N.P.
It's about us the Scots yes you and me,
Fulfil your desire and set yourself free,
Let's rid ourselves of disdain.
Wallace and Bruce will be looking on proud,
Like them with courage we Scots are endowed,
Let's tell Westminster we refuse to be cowed,
Scotland is our domain.
Our history is littered with such success,
Yet for years we have let the minority oppress,
If we stand up and be counted and all vote yes,
Then Independence we will attain.
As a proud country we are in our prime,
Seeking our freedom is not a crime,
This is our chance yes this is our time,
