Prepare a place for me By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
The wait becomes much weight to bear
Another breath of life near wears
A soul that needs a place to rest
A soul in life that gave its best
A stroke too long upon the clock
This life upon a sphere that mocks
The very you that made things so
The infinite whose hands would show
Much love that walked and came to be
A sacrifice for all to see
That you'd become ransom for me
Prepare a place, in you believe
My eyes have seen this world go bad
From bad to worse, yet much more sad
Is how we fail to trust in hands
The only good, The Son of Man
I chase you once again and seek
This place you say is mine for keeps
So hold I do and stand again
Before you father so until then
Prepare this place as you foretold
As once became the now grown old
For in your light I need but follow
There my dreams are yet tomorrows
Prepare this place so rest I claim
My soul dire of needs not vain
For simple I did try to live
Unworthy yet this place you give
Vote for this poem
Prepare a place for me
