Practice your faith in our Lord,
While being in one accord
Favor not one to another,
Rather equal to each brother.

Just because one man has much wealth,
And seems to be in perfect health,
Brush not aside one that is poor,
By having him sit on the floor.

You cater to one with fine clothes,
On his lapel attached a rose;
You show him a pew down in front,
But treat the poor man like a runt.

Both have come to hear the Gospel,
Like the total crowd of people;
Judging standards that is corrupt,
As bad as if women gossiped.

Did not God choose poor people here?
To become rich in faith and fear;
He promise them of the Kingdom,
So please do not call him a bum.

To poor people show some respect,
Do not turn your back and reject;
Love them as much just as the Lord,
Do not let them to be ignored.

How the rich would have got their wealth,
Do you think it was by means of stealth?
They always take the poor to court,
Never finding himself ever to thwart.

You do alright if you obey,
Not to treat some people as clay;
Love your neighbor the same as you,
Love yourself and others in view.
