Jesus Christ is the same,
Today and forever;
And so I will proclaim,
His love will not sever.
Get not carried away,
Strange things as being taught;
They will lead you astray,
From the reason you were bought.
By gaining inner strength,
From the kindness of God;
To persist any length,
When you honor and laud.
Strength is not from the rules,
For those who do not follow;
Those who are merely fools,
Would not know where to go.
Those who serve at the church,
Will have no right to eat;
Like a crow on his perch,
To have sacrificed meat.
Blood brought in to this place,
As offering for sin;
Asking God for His grace,
And cleanse us deep within.
Jesus suffered to make,
With the blood of His own;
Sacrificed for the sake,
That we would then condone.
Condoned for us to be,
Saved from all our sin;
And then able to see,
Once again we begin.
The future is not here,
For us to keep living;
But with respect and fear,
God enjoys forgiving.
