God sent this to His servant John,
Through an angel by early dawn;
John testified of what he saw,
The Word of God without a flaw.
From the testimony of Christ,
John saw why He was sacrificed;
Being blest as the one who read,
Hearing the words as they are said.
As the words of this prophecy,
Written with such accuracy;
So then we must pay attention,
All as to what it does mention.
Maybe some of you start to fear,
Because the time is drawing near;
But not me I can hardly wait,
For the chance to go through the gate.
John wrote to the seven churches,
For the truth that each one searches;
As he wrote of good will and peace,
Wishing hostilities would cease.
He wrote about the One, who was,
Who is and will be without flaws;
In Heaven He is not alone,
Seven spirits are by His throne.
The trustworthy one with the strife,
As the first to come back to life;
The ruler of kings of the earth,
Showing glory of its full worth.
But look, He comes in the cloud,
Every eye sees in the crowd;
Priestly believers will adorn,
While others will merely mourn.
