Sometimes I Feel
Sometimes I feel like I'm walking
down a road that has no end
Is it part of life or is it because of my sin?
The weights are heavy
The stillness is heavier
The days are scary
The nights are scarier
The heat's melting away this plastic tin
Why do destiny make me climb up
the long flights?
My nagging past,
I'm constantly trying to bury her
but she's putting up a real fight
In this hard fought race
she's making me carry her,
Draining my strength when she bites
And the road just extends and extends and extends
