Adventure starts with emptiness
Inside this place as happiness
Is brought to life where smile will bare
A pet, a friend for child to care
I watch her from a distance near
But far from me her mind appears
Too busy now for shop she will
For pal of sorts, her need, her fill
Before ritual to stuff to life
A heart is placed to bring to light
The very thing that beats as hers
Inside this shell of cloth to stir
Stirs to life as stuffing pours
Its way to fill what she'll adore
Another one to add and call
Her very own that makes now four
Accessories are much in need
She'll say to me who will agree
No less for her I dearly love
My heart, granddaughter, this write, birthed of
I look around this store now filled
Of tiny souls as hers not still
For shopping is an art to dress
Each character as time does press
Another day as we drive home
To drop off her as I alone
Shall leave once more my happiness
As goodbye comes again to stress
Until next time upon heart pressed
