A Little Boys Prayer
A little boy prayed at the end of his day
For his Daddy who has gone far away.
On his little face was the look of despair;
I knelt there beside him and I heard his prayer.
My Momma said Daddy has gone off to war.
To fight for our freedom on some foreign shore.
Please guide him and protect him,
Don't leave him alone.
And bring him back safely to our humble home
This I ask you again and again.
In Jesus name Amen and Amen.
This poem was read to me by a friend of mine since we were children.
He went totally blind recently and mentally wrote it and called me.
Asking if I would include it in my next book. So I put it here on my page.
My friends name is Ben Huckaby
