It takes some time to send you words
That will lighten your heart and touch your soul,
I hope you know that time has no meaning
When I think of you in the silence of my days,
This love has found a place no one has never known
Found a dream that no one else ever dreamt
And in the quiet flames of a passing day
I see you reflected in the mirror of eternity
Always calling to me from some distant eden,
moonlight scattered through your golden hair
Like sparkling droplets of an angels tears,
And all the discord finds itself a harmony
And all the broken moments are restored at last
And all the thoughts that weighed heavy on me
Suddenly take wings and soar into heavens light-
You are so spacious in the visions I have of life
Filling the void I imagined would one day swallow me,
Hushing my buffeting emotions with your tenderness,
Soothing my mind with a beauty that consecrates,
Some holiness beyond books and temples and rituals,
Some gift you had when you first moved and breathed
When your eyes looked out into a world you have blessed
Upon faces you have since enchanted into radiance
And when your tiny hand first touched another
They did not know that in days to come
That touch would lead many into a sacred haven
